Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA)

Good, news for the young student entrepreneurs.Here is the award for the undergraduate student entrepreneurs , GSEA-Global Student Entrepreneur Award .

Criteria for the 2008 GSEA :

  • The student must be an undergraduate student at a recognized University or College for the 2007/2008 academic year and enrolled in school at the time of application

  • The student must be the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of their company and principally responsible for its operation

  • The student’s company must have been in business for at least the last six consecutive months, and the business must be a for-profit business

  • The student must have not been the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards winner in the past and/or were not one of the six finalists for the 2007 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Global Finals competition

Prizes for the 2008 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards - at present are slated to be worth over $100,000 in total cash and donated business products and services.Prizes are given at both international and national levels.Apart from the first three place awards,there are also special recognition awards like social impact and innovation award with a crash prize of $1000 each.All the competitors will be receiving GSEA book series and products contributed by EO Member companies from around the globe.
